At The Microbrand Method, digital products and self-paced online course access are sold. This policy explains how returns, cancellations, and refunds work for purchases made through this website.

1. Scope

This policy applies to digital products, downloadable files, and online course access sold on this website, unless a specific product page states otherwise.

2. Digital nature of our products

Our products are digital and are typically delivered immediately after purchase, either by download, email, or account access.

3. Change-of-mind purchases

Because our products are digital and cannot be “returned” in the same way as physical goods, and because access may be granted immediately, change-of-mind refunds are not available once access, download, streaming, or use has begun, subject always to any rights you may have under applicable law.

4. When we may offer a refund

We may review and approve a refund where:

  • you were charged more than once for the same product by mistake

  • you did not receive the product due to a confirmed technical error on our side

  • the file, download, or course content is materially faulty or inaccessible, and we are unable to fix the issue within a reasonable time

  • a refund is required under applicable consumer law (within 7 days of purchase)

5. Course purchases

For online course purchases, access may be granted immediately after checkout. Once course access has been used, or any lesson, download, template, bonus, or resource has been accessed, completed, or downloaded, refunds are generally not available except where required by law.

6. Downloadable products

For downloadable products such as PDFs, guides, templates, or digital resources, all sales are final once the file has been delivered, downloaded, or accessed.

7. Technical issues

If you have trouble accessing your purchase, please contact us first. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve login, download, or file-access issues before considering a refund.

8. How to request help

To request support or a refund review, please email info@themicrobrandmethod.com with:

  • your full name

  • the email address used at checkout

  • your order number

  • the product purchased

  • a short description of the issue

  • screenshots where relevan

9. Refund method and timing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original payment method where possible. Please allow a reasonable processing period for the payment provider or bank to complete the refund.

10. Chargebacks

If you experience a problem with your purchase, please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have the opportunity to resolve the issue quickly.

11. Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer law
